Biography

A few details of my musical life……………..

From Drums to Strings and more.

I’m a life-long multi-instrumental musician located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My background and original training is in percussion specializing in tympani and set playing, with experience in mallet, hand, and small percussion as well. About 30 years ago, I discovered the amazing sonic beauty and textures of the Hammered Dulcimer and realized I had to acquire one and learn to play it. My first instrument was one I built myself twenty-one years ago which I performed on until about six years ago when I commissioned a new 21/20/9 instrument from Cloud Nine builder Michael Allen. In addition to all this, I’ve recently also learned to play guitar and ukulele, which I occasionally use for accompaniment with other musicians.

I have performed at farmers markets, festivals, business promotional events, fairs, and occasionally busk around town. If you would like to book me for your event, click Contact at the top of this page. For upcoming performances click the Performance Dates link.

But Wait, There’s More……..

I’ve also had a passion for sound and music synthesis starting in my teens that has endured through the years, and is now realized in my ever-growing Eurorack, semi-modular and keyboard synthesizer collection.
